Meetings
Our chapter meetings are held in the afternoon on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.
Our History
Celebrating 15 years of service to the community, Augusta Parish Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 2005 by Mrs. Janie Sherman in Staunton, Virginia.
Behind the Name
The name, Augusta Parish was the original name of Trinity Episcopal Church in Staunton. The General Assembly (or part of it) met there briefly while escaping the British. Patrick Henry was said to have lost his shoe there.
