Meetings

Craig Valley Chapter meets the third Saturday of each month from March to December at various locations in New Castle, VA.  We also schedule a variety of group outings.

Our History

Craig Valley Chapter, NSDAR, is one of the newer chapters in the Commonwealth of Virginia, formed in 2007 with sixteen charter members.  Ms. Nancy Feild was the Organizing Regent.  Today our chapter has over thirty members located across the United States.

Behind the Name

The name Craig Valley was selected to honor the majestic mountains and valleys of Craig County, Virginia.  Originally a part of Botetourt County, the area was settled by families when it was considered the frontier or backcountry.  Their hard work and bravery paved the way for their descendants’ futures.
