Meetings

Our chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.

Our History

Celebrating over 60 years of service to the community, Leedstown Resolutions Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1955 by Mrs. Florionette Knight in King George, Virginia.

Behind the Name

In February of 1766, a band of local patriots signed the Leedstown Resolutions, also called the Leedstown Resolves, representing the first recorded act of resistance against British Rule. Ten years later, a number of jurisdictions throughout Virginia and other colonies formed their own documents of protest.
