Price William Resolves
On May 6, 2023, the Prince William Resolves Chapter hosted a dual commemorative wreath laying event celebrating the 249th anniversary of the signing of the Prince William Resolves as well as the 274th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Dumfries, both having historical significance in our country’s history.
May 6 at Merchant Park
The commemorative event held on May 6th was a testament to the dedication and passion of the Prince William Resolves Chapter, NSDAR. The event was held at Merchant Park, adjacent to the Weems-Botts Museum in Dumfries, Virginia.
Proclamations
Two proclamations from the Prince William County Board of Supervisors honoring the two event anniversaries were read by Coles District Supervisor, Yesli Vega.
