Meetings

Our chapter meetings are held on the first Friday of each month, September through May.

Our History

Celebrating over 90 years of service to the community, Nancy Christian Fleming Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1921 by Mrs. C.F. Cocke in Roanoke, Virginia.

Behind the Name

Our chapter is named for the wife of Dr. William Fleming, a colonial era doctor. Nancy was also the sister of William Christian Fleming. She raised six children and lived at "Belmont," located in the Hollins area of Roanoke County.
