Morning Workshops 11:00 am – 12:15 pm

"A Year in the Life of a Chapter Regent" — presented by Katie Bischoff

The start of a new Chapter Regent’s term is filled with excitement, anticipation... and a thousand potential questions. In this workshop, we will look at the various duties and events that Chapter Regents should plan for throughout the year, discuss how to delegate to your executive board, and explore how and when to go to your District Directors, State Chairs, and State Officers for support.

"Chapter Treasurer – It's Not That Scary!" — presented by Lisa Maloney

"The Why and How of Reporting!" — presented by Kecia Brown and Sherryl Belinsky

This course will focus on setting current and future regents and chapter boards up for success. We will start with an overview of the Chapter Master Reports (CMR) and Chapter Achievement Awards (CAA) and the process to guarantee successful reporting. The second half will focus on state reporting requirements, updates to national committee structure, and a list of sources to guarantee you meet deadlines without stress while staying aware of the health of your chapter. Is this limited to the chapter board? No! If you are on a chapter committee, this will prepare you to assist in reporting!

Already have a website?

All new or redesigned websites must be approved by the state chair of Website Development, the state regent, and the national Website Approval Committee. Any changes to existing sites other than maintenance, i.e., names, email addresses, patriots, etc., must once again go through the approval process. With this in mind, design your site so that it will appear ‘fresh’ until your next major changes.
